Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data EziMathz collects, how we use it, and your rights under Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA).

Last updated: 4 July 2026

1. What we collect

Account details (your name, email, and phone number), your course purchases and access, and learning activity such as lesson progress and completion. We do not collect or store your card details — payments are processed by our payment providers.

2. Children's data

EziMathz accounts belong to an adult account holder — we do not create separate accounts for children or ask children for their own personal data. If the account holder shares their account with their child so the child can learn on EziMathz, the account holder is responsible for the child's use of the account, and consent for any personal data processed through that use is given by the account holder. We collect only what is needed to deliver the courses and track progress.

3. How we use your data

To provide and improve the service: creating accounts, granting course access, tracking progress, and sending essential account and receipt emails.

4. Service providers we share with

We use trusted providers to run EziMathz: payment gateways (to process payments), our database and authentication provider (to store account and learning data), a video provider (to stream lessons), and an email provider (to send receipts and account emails). They process data only on our behalf.

5. Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in, keep the site secure, and remember your cookie choice — these are always on because the site cannot run without them. With your consent we also use two optional categories:

  • Analytics — understanding how the site is used so we can improve it (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity). No ads.
  • Marketing — measuring our advertising (Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel).

No optional cookie loads before you choose. You can accept, reject, or pick categories individually, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time using the “Cookie preferences” link in the footer or account menu of our pages — withdrawing is as easy as giving consent, and advertising cookies never run on the learning pages.

6. Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active and as required to meet legal, accounting, and dispute obligations.

7. Your rights and contact

Under the PDPA you may request access to or correction of your personal data. To make a request or ask a question, visit our contact page.
